CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Kelsey Wasmer, Katie Tull and Helen Terry all garnered postseason laurels for the Charleston Southern women’s basketball team, the Big South Conference announced tonight. Wasmer and Tull were named Second-Team All-Conference, and Terry was placed on the All-Freshman Team. Wasmer was also named to the Academic All-Conference Team.

GAME DAY
CSU is coming off a split vs. Georgia Southern, with an 8-0 loss and 6-3 win on Wednesday. Megan Lombard and Megan Hall both posted three-run homeruns in the 6-3 win. Last weekend CSU won the Low Country Invite, going 4-0 on the weekend. Shayla Cullum and Caitlin Allen were named the Tourney’s most outstanding player and pitcher, respectively. CSU will look to take wins vs. member schools from the Big 10, ACC, Big East, A-Sun and Sun Belt in the Parent’s Weekend Tourney. The Bucs play Iowa (8-9) and Virginia Tech (7-12) on Thursday, Syracuse (6-9) and the host school Florida Atlantic (11-11) on Saturday, and cap their weekend off with a match up vs. Jacksonville (15-6) on Sunday.

HIGH POINT, N.C. - The Charleston Southern women's basketball team will take its third-place finish in the Big South Conference and its recent hot streak to Millis Athletic Center, where the No. 4 Buccaneers will face off at 2 p.m. March 12 with No. 5 Coastal Carolina University in the first round of the 2010 Advance Auto Parts Big South Women's Basketball Championship.

CHARLESTON, S.C - The Media Release for CSU Baseball's weekend series vs. Florida is now available. The Buccaneers will face the Gators on Friday at 6:30 p.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Florida's McKethan Stadium.
