LEXINGTON, VA - Designated hitter David Perkins belted a two-out, game-tying solo homerun in the top of the ninth and the Charleston Southern Buccaneers added an unearned run in the 10th to take a 3-2 win over VMI in Big South Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Charleston Southern improves to 9-15 overall and 3-2 in Big South play with game three of the series set for Sunday afternoon at 1 pm.
