Men's Golf Finishes Second in Rain-Shortened EventOctober 17, 2006By CSU Sports Information LYNCHBURG, Va. - Charleston Southern shot a +9, 585 in the first two rounds of the Frank Landry Invitational, hosted by Liberty University finishing just behind Western Carolina. Soggy conditions forced an early end to the event, leaving CSU with a second-place finish.
Stuart Carrihill led the way for CSU, carding a combined seven-under, tying him for second place overall. Shawn Hall finished eigth with a +1, 145, while Mark St. Onge and Adam Seig tied for 24th and 28th respectively, despite just being one stroke apart. Kelvin Day, who led CSU a week ago, has a combined 159, putting him 50th overall. |
