Buccaneer Baseball Players Named to Presidential Honor Roll

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 2005-06 Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll was released, and 132 baseball student-athletes were named to the annual list. Charleston Southern had 15 baseball players named to the honor roll. To be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently-completed academic year.

Overall, the Big South Conference placed 1,131 out of 2,763 student-athletes – 40.9 percent -- on its prestigious annual Presidential Honor Roll for the 2005-06 academic season. The 40.9 percentage marks the second-straight year above the 40 percent threshold. Charleston Southern had 90 student-athletes on the honor roll.
