CLEMSON, S.C. - The Lady Bucs improved from a fifth-place finish a year ago, edging Radford for third place at the 2007 Indoor Track and Field Championships, held on the campus of Clemson University.
Dionne Gibson finished fourth in the 200m with a time of 25.03, edging out teammate Ebony Muller, who finished seventh in 25.48. Muller would get her revenge, though, finishing second in the 400m in 56.70. Gibson would finish right behind her in third at 57.44 seconds.
Kim Allen brought home a fifth-place finish in the 60m hurdles.
Muller, Odie, Thomas and Gibson would combine to win the 4X400m relay in 3:51.69, more than four seconds ahead of the second-place team and breaking the old school record. The distance medley relay team would pick up one team point with an eighth-place finish in the event. Browning also finished fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 37-10 (11.53m).
Jocelyn Davis and Maria Sweet finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in the weight throw.
In the pentathlon , Chidi Walsh tallied 2485 points to finish seventh overall, just ahead of Heather Koziel, who picked up an eighth-place finish.
