Rhue Qualifies in the 400m at Chanticleer Classic

CONWAY, S.C. - The Buccaneers took a trip up Highway 17 for one last tune-up before the upcoming Big South Championships. The trip paid off as the Bucs brought home five championships and one regional qualifier.

Michael Rhue won the 400m event with a regional-qualifying time of 46.95 seconds. Teammate Levi Brooks finished second in 47.89 seconds.

Alonzo Spurley won the 100m dash, crossing the line in 10.49 seconds, while Augustus Scott took the long jump competition with a leap of 23 feet, 0.75 inches.

The Bucs also took the 4X100m and 4X400m relay championships, winning in 41.07 seconds, and 3:17.30, respectively.
