CHARLESTON, S.C. - Head Coach Jason Murray announced, Wednesday, the addition of seven players to the 2008 Charleston Southern baseball roster.
Three transfers top the list, with Keith Hustedt and Steven Lynch coming south from Iowa. Both solid outfielders, Hustedt will transfer in from Marshalltown Community College, while Lynch will come from Iowa Western Community College.
Kory Morian, an infielder originally from Fort Dorchester High School, is transfering in from USC-Upstate, and is one of four players from the Charleston area. Also from the Lowcountry are: Brantley Meier, an outfielder from Bishop England High School, Derek Smith, a first baseman from Northwoods Academy, and Nick Gaetke, an infielder from West Ashley High School.
Rounding out the list is Blake Hunt, an incoming freshman catcher from Ballard High School in Louisville, Kent. |
