Final Spring Scrimmage To Be Held April 12

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The 2008 Edward A. Gadson Memorial Spring Game will be held Saturday, April 12, at Buccaneer Field. The game, held in the honor of former wide receiver Eddie Gadson, will start at 10 a.m.

The game will again feature the offense vs. the defense in four quarters of play. The defense has won the spring game in each of the last five years. The halftime program includes the awarding of Most Improved awards at each position. The final two quarters will have a running clock. Following the game, the team will name the 2008 recipient of the Edward A. Gadson Memorial Scholarship, and will host a BBQ lunch fundraiser.

Saturday’s game will be free and open to the public.
