Cadenhead Named MVP of Summer League All-StarsJuly 14, 2008By CSU Sports Information SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Sophomore-to-be Jesse Cadenhead pitched to just three batters, but a dominating performance earned him Most Valuable Pitcher honors at the Southern Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game played at Russell C. King Field on the Wofford Campus. Cadenhead struck out two and induced a ground ball to get out of the seventh inning facing only the minimum. His performance helped lead the North squad to a dominating 13-1, four-hit victory in the contest. “When you know you’re only going to be in there for one inning,” Cadenhead said, “you just let it loose and give it everything you’ve got.”
