The following is the Student Athlete Success Information for the 2002-03 year. The results are based on the academic performance of the 265 student athletes participating on 17 NCAA Division I athletic teams at Charleston Southern University.
FALL 2002 RESULTS Overall Team GPA for all sports: 2.80 Top 3 Team GPAs:
- Women's Cross Country: 3.59 GPA
- Women's Basketball: 3.24 GPA
- Women's Track: 3.09 GPA
The most improved GPA for Fall 2002 was Women's Basketball, which earned a 3.24 GPA.
- 16 student athletes earned a 4.0 GPA for Fall 2002
- 26 student athletes earned a 3.5 - 3.99 GPA
- 49 student athletes earned a 3.0 -3.49 GPA
SPRING 2003 GPA RESULTS Overall Team GPA for all sports: 2.86 Top 3 Team GPAs:
- Women's Cross Country 3.55
- Men's Cross Country 3.34
- Volleyball 3.24
The most improved GPA for Spring 2003 was Women's Basketball, which earned a 3.15 GPA.
- 10 student athletes earned a 4.0 GPA for Spring 2003
- 22 student athletes earned a 3.5 - 3.99 GPA
- 53 student athletes earned a 3.0 - 3.49 GPA
