Baseball to Host Parents' Weekend; Cookout

CHARLESTON, S.C. – As part of the 2008 Baseball Parents’ Weekend, the baseball team will host the 2008 Blue and Gold World Series, and will host a BBQ Cookout. All of the events are open to the public.

The cookout will be held on Saturday, October 18, and $5 will get fans a BBQ sandwich, chips and a drink. It will be part of game two of the World Series.

Game one of the series will start on Friday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Buccaneer Field. Game two is scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m., while game three will be played Sunday at 2 p.m. All three games are free to the public.
