Lady Bucs set to take Asheville on Senior Day

The CSU Lady Bucs are set to take on the Lady Bulldogs of UNC Asheville on October 25 with what will be the Lady Bucs' last home game of the regular season, and will also mark Senior Day for the 2008 Lady Bucs who will be graduating this year.

The Lady Bucs are coming off a 2-game streak of ties against Raford and Winthrop Universitites, and are hoping that this weekend's game will bring forth enough points to pull the Lady Bucs out of their recent streak of ties.  On October 20, the Lady Bucs tied against Winthrop University and almost took away a win with a goal by Emma Mattsson, but were left on the field when an offsides call wiped the goal clean and left the Lady Bucs with a tie.  The team is hoping that regrouping and refocusing on their two last regualr season games will help pull them into the winning category for this weekend's game.

The Lady Bulldogs of UNC Asheville are entering off a1-0 loss to VMI on Tuesday.
