Baseball Ready for Tough 2009 ScheduleJanuary 15, 2009By CSU Sports Information
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2009 baseball team returned from the holiday break ready to start practice in preparation for a difficult 2009 schedule. The 55-game schedule boasts 28 home games and road games against South Carolina, Auburn and Tennessee. The Bucs will also play cross-town rivals College of Charleston and The Citadel. First-year head coach Stuart Lake is excited about what his first year at the helm will hold. The 2009 Buccaneers return seven of nine starters in the field and eight pitchers who started in at least one game last year. The season will start on Feb. 20 as the Bucs take on Marist. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Buccaneer Field. 2009 Charleston Southern Baseball Schedule
