CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern baseball program will hold a benefit dinner on Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at the Wingate Hotel on the CSU campus. The dinner will have a silent auction and will feature guest speaker and South Carolina Baseball Coach Ray Tanner, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the Ray Tanner Foundation. A meet-and-greet autograph session will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Banquet Room, and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The cost is $65 per person, or $500 for a table of eight. The Ray Tanner Foundation helps to support economically and medically disadvantaged children and their families, among other charitable causes. |
