Orr hired as Assistant Sports Information Director at CSUJanuary 13, 2004By CSU Sports Information CHARLESTON, SC - Charleston Southern University athletic director Hank Small announced the hiring of Noelle Orr as the school's assistant sports information director on Tuesday.
Orr, 25, a native of Charleston, replaces Scott McCain, who accepted a position at Newberry College in December.
"Noelle brings tremendous enthusiasm and energy, along with a desire to learn and grow in the college athletics. We are extremely proud to bring her on board at CSU," said Small.
Orr is a 2000 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She received her Master's in Sports Management from Georgia Southern University in December, 2003. Orr is formerly a reporter for the Charleston Post and Courier and most recently completed an internship at The Citadel.
"I am excited about the opportunity to learn and grow at Charleston Southern University," said Orr. "I am grateful for the opportunity and the challenge of working in a Division I athletic program at such a quality institution."
