Bucs Face #27 Eagles in Non-Conference Game, Game Notes

CSU takes a break from conference play as they face the Eagles of Georgia Southern for their first of two non-conference road games. The Eagles and Bucs have met several times before, and the Eagles lead the series 35-4. The Eagles enter the contest 28-9 on the season and 12-4 in conference play. They are currently on a five game winning streak, with a sweep over conference rival Davidson over the weekend.

The Eagles are batting .324 as a team with designated hitter Griffin Benedict leading the way averaging .402 in 36 games. The Bucs announced a time change for the first game of their home series against conference rival Radford University on Friday, April 24.  The game has been moved up to 2:00 p.m. from its previously scheduled time of 3:00 p.m.
