CSU Posts Six Perfect One-Year Scores in 2009 APR ReportMay 6, 2009By CSU Sports Information CHARLESTON, S.C. –The NCAA has released its annual report regarding school’s Academic Progress Rate. CSU is pleased to announce they had 14 of 16 sports come in over the 925 mark for the four-year average. The remaining two sports had a squad-size adjustment to prevent them from suffering penalties. In addition, six sports posted a perfect one-year score of 1,000, showing they are heading in the right direction. Baseball, men’s basketball, women’s golf, softball and soccer all reached the maximum points available for the 2007-08 school year. The APR provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete. The APR includes eligibility, retention and graduation in the calculation and provides a clear picture of the academic culture in each sport. A full list of the scores by school can be found at the NCAA’s Web site.
