Football Reports For Fall CampAugust 5, 2009By CSU Sports Information
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The 2009 Charleston Southern football team returned to campus, Wednesday, with just 31 days showing on the countdown clock before the Bucs take on the defending national champion Florida Gators. The team started arriving at 8 a.m. and spent the day getting settled before their first scheduled practice at 3:30 p.m., Thursday. “I am really excited about this team,” said Mills. “I have heard some encouraging things from the strength coach about the progress over the summer. I am confident that we are going to have a good team to put on the field come September.” The season begins with a 7 p.m. kickoff against Florida in Gainesville, Fla., one of two FBS games on the 2009 slate for CSU, with South Florida coming two weeks later. |
