Baseball home opener can be heard live via internetFebruary 19, 2004By CSU Sports Information
CHARLESTON, SC - Charleston Southern's baseball home opener is set for Friday, February 20, at Buccaneer Field. The University of Maryland is the opponent and every pitch can be heard live on the internet at csusports.com. CSU, 0-3 after last weekend's series at South Carolina, will send junior left-hander R.J. Swindle (0-1) to the mound. Maryland comes into the contest with an 0-1 record, losing to Winthrop last weekend, 7-6. Friday's game is the first of seven consecutive home games for the Buccaneers. The Bucs take on Gardner-Webb on Saturday and will host Marshall on Sunday. Junior left-hander Brad Bissell is scheduled to start on Saturday while sophomore right-hander Bobby Parnell will start Sunday.
