King Named Big South Runner of the Week; Cuff Honorable Mention

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charleston Southern’s Andrew King and Dani Paul of High Point have been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively, the League announced today.

King, a junior from Anderson, S.C., finished second at The Citadel Invitational over the weekend with an 8K time of 26:29.  King, who led for most of the race, finished just seven seconds behind the winner, and helped The Bucs to a fourth-place finish overall.

Paul, a freshman from Auburn, Maine, finished second at the Greensboro Invitational over the weekend.  She covered the 5K course in 19:22.2 to lead her Panthers to a second-place finish as a team.

Men’s Honorable Mentions:  Anthony Burkis (High Point).

Women’s Honorable Mentions: Adrienne Cuff (Charleston Southern) and Emily Webb (High Point).
