CHARLESTON, SC - Charleston Southern University has announced its 2004 football schedule, a roster of games that includes six road games, including three to open the season.
The Buccaneers, 1-11 last season, will open the 2004 campaign at The Citadel on September 4, followed by road games at Presbyterian on September 11 and at Jacksonville on September 18.
The home schedule kicks off on September 25 against the University of Charleston (WV). The Big South Conference opener is a week later, on October 2, against Virginia Military as CSU celebrates Hall of Fame weekend.
CSU will visit Howard University on October 9 and will host North Greenville on October 23, which is also Homecoming weekend. CSU is at Liberty on October 30 before hosting Allen University and Gardner-Webb on November 6 and November 13, respectively. The season winds up at Coastal Carolina on November 20.
