Postgame quotes from CSU vs. Presbyterian College

CLINTON, S.C. – Postgame quotes are available from head coach Barclay Radebaugh after his team’s 58-51 loss to Presbyterian College on Saturday night.

On his team’s execution:
“Execution matters. Every single play matters. We don’t seem to get that point. Our team doesn’t seem to be hearing that point.”

On the play of Kenny Mitchell:
“We made a big effort to get the ball to Kenny, and for him to score 13 points is good. Some of that he got because of hustle and offensive rebounds. But still, that’s an area where we have to execute better.”

On the play of guard Jamarco Warren and Jeremy Sexton:
“Jamarco was 4-9 and Jeremy was 2-6. People are just doing a good job on them. They’re face-guarding them and offensively, we can’t stand and watch while they are face-guarded. We have ten different things to counter that, but we have to execute them.”

On the three-game losing streak:
“We’ve lost three straight games, and our execution has been substandard and disappointing. We have to buy in to executing on every single possession. That will lead to taking quality shots on each possession instead of settling for shots late in the shot clock.”

On how his team can snap out of their current slide:
“Execution. It’s pretty simple. Execution, shot selection, and creating  quality shots through quality screens and quality ball movement. Our guys know what to do; now they have to go and do it. And I don’t want to hear that we have a bunch of freshman that are inexperienced. Presbyterian has as many freshman as anybody.”
