Men's tennis ends season with loss to Winthrop in Big South semi'sApril 16, 2004By CSU Sports Information CHARLESTON, SC - Charleston Southern's men's tennis season ended in the semi-final round of the Big South Conference tournament with a 4-0 loss to top-seeded Winthrop on Friday afternoon.
Winthrop won the doubles point with victories at number one and three doubles then proceeded to win at number one, two, and five singles to move into the championship match on Saturday. Singles matches at three, four and six were not completed once the outcome of the match was decided.
CSU ends its season at 6-13 overall.
