CHARLESTON, S.C. - Game Notes for Saturday's football game between Charleston Southern University and Hawaii are now available for media use. The Buccaneers and Warriors will face off Saturday at 11:30 p.m. (Eastern), from Honolulu, Hawaii.
Charleston Southern is coming off another career outing for the offense, including the first 300-yard passing game of A.J. Toscano’s career (374). Toscano is now third all time in career passing yards and will likely move into second on Saturday. Gerald Stevenson moved into second with 127 career receptions, hauling in six balls for a career-high 198 yards last Saturday and earned Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance. James Nunley (Fr., WR) and Andy Brown (Jr., K/P) were also honored by the Big South for their performances last week as the Big South Freshman and Special Teams Player of the Week, respectively.
Hawaii is coming off a 31-13 loss on the road at Colorado last weekend. They will host CSU for the second home game of the season, falling at home to Southern California in the season-opener on Thursday, Sept. 2. Wide Receiver Kealoha Pilares tallied 117 yards receiving and scored for the third straight game, leading the team with five receiving touchdowns this year.
Saturday's game can be heard on WJNI 106.3 FM in the Charleston area and can be viewed live on the internet through Oceanic Pay Per View.
