Bucs Travel to North Florida For Final Tune-UpMay 11, 2011By CSU Sports Information CHARLESTON, S.C. – Both the men’s and the women’s team will travel to Jacksonville, Fla., this weekend to compete in their final scheduled competition before the first round of the NCAA Championships. Four Lady Bucs have been in action since finals, with Tamisha Foster, Deona Jones and Daisy Whitaker posting top-10 finishes at Clemson’s Bob Pollock Spring Invitational, while Patria Norman competed at the Wake Forest Demon Deacon Combined Event. Three of the four (Foster, Jones, Norman) will be competing this weekend in Jacksonville. The men, on the other hand, have not competed since the Big South Conference Outdoor Championships at the end of April. The Bucs will be represented in a total of five events this weekend in Jacksonville, including two field events. Javon Young, Rozzie Johnson, Dantwan Spreads and Cornelius Tyler will represent CSU in the sprint events, as well as the 4x100m relay. Hurdler Ed Ponton will also be in action.
