Tickets Now on Sale for CSU Football's Games at UCF, FSU

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Tickets are now available for the Buccaneer football team’s games at Central Florida and Florida State through the CSU ticket office.  The Bucs will kick off the 2011 season when they take on the UCF Knights in Orlando, Fla., on September 3.    CSU will return to the Sunshine State the following week to play the Seminoles on September 10 in Tallahassee.

“This is a great opportunity for the Athletics Department and the CSU football program to be a part of the University’s vision for receiving national recognition for integrating faith and education,” said Director of Athletics Hank Small.  “These games give us a platform to show our University and for our fans, friends and alumni to share in the experience of Division I Athletics.”

Tickets for the Bucs game at Central Florida (Sept. 3) will be on sale at a cost for $30.   The Knights are the reigning Conference USA Champions, and led the league in scoring defense last season by allowing just 17.1 points per game.    UCF capped off their 11-3 season with a 10-6 victory over Georgia in the 2010 Liberty Bowl.    The Knights rank 33rd in the USA Today Coaches’ Preseason Poll

The Seminoles are at the top of the Atlantic Coast Conference, falling to Virginia Tech in last season’s ACC Championship game by a score of 44-33.    FSU, who went 10-4 last season, defeated South Carolina in the Chick-fil-A Bowl 26-17 on December 21, 2010.  The Seminoles finished the season ranked 23rd in the nation are ranked fifth in the USA Today Coaches’ Preseason Poll.  They were recently picked to win the ACC in the 2011 ACC Preseason Poll.    The cost of tickets for the game is $45.  Florida State has sold out of all full football season tickets.
