Game Notes Available for CSU at UCF

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Game notes are now available for Charleston Southern’s season opener at Central Florida.  The Buccaneers and the Knights will face off for the first time ever on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Bright House Network Stadium in Orlando, Fla.

The game is the first of three the Bucs will play in the Sunshine State.  They will return on September 10 to take on Florida State in Tallahassee, and will make the trek again on September 17 to play Jacksonville.   A majority of the roster will view these trips as a homecoming of sorts, as 47 players hail from Florida.

CSU is no stranger to the Sunshine State, as they have previously faced Florida, Miami, South Florida and Edward Waters.   The Bucs are 4-4 against Florida opponents and 1-4 in games played in the Sunshine State.

Saturday’s match up will be broadcast on the Bright House Sports Network.  The game will also be called on 106.3 WJNI with play-by-play from Kevin O’Rourke and color by Jon Davis.
