CSU Set for Match with Minutemen

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Following a tough loss to College of Charleston, the Charleston Southern tennis team aims to return to its winning ways on Monday against UMass. Play at the Buccaneer Tennis Center is set to begin at 2 p.m.

The Bucs still stand at 2-0 in Big South action, and are 8-2 overall thanks to solid contributions all-around. Alexandra Walters leads the way with a 10-0 singles record, as she surged from behind to maintain her perfect mark in Saturday’s match versus Charleston. Marija Dzakovic has built a 9-1 ledger, while Yvonne Hubler, Alia Nour, and Olga Makhova all have at least seven wins.

UMass has won 6 of its last 7 matches, but will be competing for the first time in 15 days. The Minutemen are 7-5 overall and 4-1 in the Atlantic 10.
