Lady Bucs to Enter BSC Championship as No. 3 SeedApril 8, 2012by CSU Sports Information NINETY-SIX, S.C. – The CSU Lady Bucs golf team is set to participate in the 2012 Big South Women’s Golf Championship – their first under head coach Ernie Rose. The squad will tee off starting at 10:20 a.m. on Monday at the Patriot Golf Club in Ninety-Six, S.C. The tournament, hosted by Gardner-Webb, will run from Monday to Wednesday, with the teams playing 18 holes each day. With a ranking of 143, Charleston Southern enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed and will be paired No. 1 Campbell and No. 2 Coastal Carolina. The Bucs last won the tournament in 2010 before finishing seventh in 2011. The 2012 season marks the sixth time The Patriot Golf Club at Grand Harbor has hosted the BSC tournament. The Patriot is a par-72 that runs 7,045 yards and was designed by PGA tour member Davis Love III in 2004. Live scoring for the event can be found on the Golf stat website.
