Lady Bucs Wrap Up Competition at GT Invite May 12, 2012by CSU Sports Information ATLANTA, Ga. - The Charleston Southern women’s track & field team had another solid day at the Georgia Tech Invitational, hosted by the Ramblin’ Wreck in Atlanta on Saturday. The Lady Bucs’ relay team took sixth place in the 4x100-meter event. Mulern Jean, Gabrielle Houston, Jasmine King and Brittney Greer combined for a time of 46.30 to take second in their heat. Houston went on to take third place in the 100-meter dash finals, running an 11.51. Daisy Whitaker also had a solid outing, setting a program record in the discus with a throw of 46.93 meters. Tamisha Foster took 18th in the triple jump, recording a mark of 11.71 meters. Sequoya Casey fouled out of the event. On Friday evening, Adrienne Cuff placed third in the steeple chase with a time of 11:23.76. The Bucs will return to action May 24-26 at the NCAA East Regional meet, hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Fla.
