Baseball home opener postponed until Wednesday

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Charleston Southern's scheduled baseball game today against Savannah State has been postponed until Wednesday due to wet grounds at Buccaneer Field.

First pitch on Wednesday is scheduled for 2 pm. The game marks a string of 15 consecutive home games for the Bucs, who play 10th-ranked Missouri at home on Friday morning at 11 am as part of the 2006 Buccaneer Classic. Other teams involved in the tournament include East Tennessee State, Kennesaw State and Washington State.
