Charleston Southern freshman middle blocker Meredith Parrott was named the CSU Student-Athlete of the Week for her performance last week in CSU’s match against Coastal Carolina.
Parrott played a crucial role in Charleston Sothern's 3-2 win over Coastal Carolina. The freshman put away 14 kills with a .407 hitting percentage and posted eight blocks in the five-set victory over the Chanticleers.
Parrott recorded five kills in the fourth set and added two more in the deciding fifth set as the freshman recorded her top performance on the season to put CSU above .500 on the season in Big South Conference play.
