CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Southern Buc Club is organizing road trips to two CSU football games this season.
The first trip will be to the season opener in Gainesville, Fla. on September 1 for the kickoff against the University of Florida. The bus will depart CSU at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 1 and arrive in Gainesville at 3 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
"This is a great opportunity for our fans to come out and support our football team in their 2018 season opener," CSU Athletic Director Jeff Barber commented. "I hope all Buc Club members and fans will take advantage of this chance to come support our team on the road and look forward to seeing everyone in Gainesville."
Cost for the trip is $325 for non-Buc Club members and $300 for Buc Club members. The cost includes breakfast for the bus ride, transportation to and from the game, a ticket in the CSU section, a hotel stay in Gainesville Saturday evening, and inside access of the UF athletic facilities.
Individuals will be on their own financially for tailgating at the stadium and for lunch to and from Gainesville.
Details are also being finalized for Charleston Southern's flight to Monmouth for the November 3 contest against the Hawks in West Long Branch, N.J. and will be released at a later date.
"The Buc Club is a vital asset to Charleston Southern Athletics and our student-athletes," said Tyler Davis, Assistant A.D. for Development. "We look forward to two great trips supporting our football team as they kick-off their 2018 campaign. These trips will be first class and we look forward to going with you. Thank you for making an impact and supporting our programs."
