CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Charleston Southern women's golfer
Madison Frank was recognized on the 2020-21 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar list as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.
Frank was one of 1,432 women's collegiate golfers across the country to receive the prestigious award. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
"This is a well-deserved award for Maddie," CSU women's golf head coach
Jordan Jeffers said. "All our ladies worked hard on and off the course this past season and we look to continue that tradition in the years to come."
Frank becomes just the eighth Buccaneer in program history to receive this prestigious award dating back to 2011. The Hilton Head Island, S.C. native competed in all seven events in the 2021 spring season. She posted the third-lowest stroke average for the Bucs over the spring highlighted by her low round 75 at the One-Day Match against Youngstown State winning the stroke event.
Frank added top-30 finishes at the season-opening Battle at Old South and the JU Amelia Island Invitational.
