CHARLESTON, S.C. – Coastal Carolina stands as the next tilt for Head Coach Anca Dumitrescu's side, as Charleston Southern women's tennis welcomes the Chanticleers to the Gary Clark Banks Sr. Tennis Center. The non-conference match is set for a 12:00 p.m. start Wednesday, February 16.
 
OUR HOUSE
Charleston Southern kicked-off the Spring 2022 slate with a convincing 6-1 win over Southern Conference member Wofford, dominating the doubles competition and taking all but one singles point. The Bucs followed up that performance with a quick 7-0 sweep of South Carolina State, moving CSU to 2-0 in front of the home fans on the year.
 
FAMILIAR FOES
The two sides have met 36 times in the overall series, with Coastal Carolina taking 24 of the 36 matches, including three straight. The last time the two met came just a season ago, with the Chanticleers protecting home court with a 6-1 victory. Madalina Man was the lone Buc to win her flight at #2 singles with a 10-8 tiebreaker. 
 
Man teamed up with Khyanna Singh to win 6-4 at the top doubles flight, but Coastal Carolina took the doubles point after wins at flights two and three.
