CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Charleston Southern athletics department announced the opening of the nomination process to the Athletics Hall of Fame for the 2026 class on Tuesday morning. The Hall of Fame inducts former Buccaneer student-athletes, coaches and other individuals associated with the department on an every other year basis.

Six permanent members serve on the Athletics Hall of Fame Committee. The group includes members of the department's senior staff, the Faculty Athletics Representative and Assistant A.D. for Athletic Communications/PR. A vote will be held by those members on nominations with a full announcement of the class announced to be later this spring.

Nominations must be submitted by March 31, 2026, for full consideration for the class of 2026. The announcement of the newest inductees will be later this spring, with a formal celebration taking place the first weekend of October 2026, centered around the Buccaneers' home football game that weekend against Gardner-Webb.
