Media Credentials: All requests for media, broadcast and photo credentials for Charleston Southern home games should be directed to Charleston Southern Sports Information Department, P.O. Box 118087, Charleston, SC 29423. Requests must be made in writing on appropriate letterhead at least one week prior to the game. Credentials must be presented to enter Charleston Southern sports facilities.

Services: Game programs, complete statistics, pre-game notes and typed play-by-play are provided at every game. Records, scores of games in progress, and other pertinent information will be distributed, whenever possible, throughout the game.

Scouting and Photo Credentials: Credentials for photographers and scouting should be requested at least one week in advance of the game. Each organization will be allotted one seat on a space available basis.

Dressing Rooms: Charleston Southern dressing room will be closed to the media before and after games. For home games, Charleston Southern post-game interviews will be held following a 10-minute cooling off period in a designated location.

Player Interviews: All media request for interviews with Charleston Southern players must be directed to the Sports Information Department. Players are usually available for telephone interviews early afternoons and evenings, except game days. The best for in-season interviews is before or after practice. This policy allows us to arrange a time that will not interfere with a player’s academic schedule, which has top priority. With advance notice, interviews can be arranged for other hours.

Coach Interview Time: The Charleston Southern Sports Information Department will coordinate all interviews with the coaches. Interview request should be requested as far as possible in advance.

Practices: All practices, as a general rule, are open to the media and public. However, no interviews may be conducted during practice. Interviews with players and coaches must be arranged in advance, for before or after practice. No interviews with players or coaches are allowed during practice. Practices may be closed at the coach’s discretion.
