Game Notes available for Saturday's season finale vs. Coastal CarolinaBucs look to finish season 6-5
CHARLESTON, S.C. - Game Notes for Saturday's Big South Conference football game between Charleston Southern University and Coastal Carolina University are now available for media use. The Buccaneers and Chanticleers will face off Saturday at 1:30 p.m. EST in Charleston, S.C. CSU enters the game 5-5 (3-2 Big South) after a thrilling 30-27 overtime victory last week against Stony Brook. K John Paglia kicked three field goals, including the game-winner, while Chris Kuzdale intercepted two passes. Both players earned Big South Conference Player of the Week honors. Coastal Carolina is 5-5 (3-2 Big South) after taking down Presbyterian, 41-37, in their last game. The Buccaneers and Chanticleers have met on the gridiron six previous times, with Coastal Carolina holding a 4-2 advantage. Saturday's game can be heard on WJNI-FM 106.3 in the Charleston area and can be viewed live on the Big South Network. 2009 FOOTBALL GAME NOTES

As tough as it is to repeat as CSU Athlete of the Week, it’s just as hard to deny that senior Marky Boyce’s performance this week was one of the best performances in school history. Boyce scored goals in all three games this week, including two game-winners and notched a hat trick in the victory over Jacksonville.
