2011 Outdoor: Finished 32nd in the 400m dash with a time of 51.65 seconds at the Duke Invitational (4/8-4/9)…Placed 3rd in the 400m dash at the Chanticleer Classic (4/15) with a time of 48.77 seconds…Finished 15th in the 400m dash prelims with a time of 51.01 at the Big South Outdoor Championships (4/21-4/23)…Took 29th in the 100m prelims with a time of 10.87 seconds at the North Florida Invitational (5/13-5/14)…Also was part of the 1st place 4x100m relay team at the North Florida Invitational with a time of 39.78 seconds.

2010-11 Indoor: Took 35th in the 400m dash with a time of 52.04 seconds at the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational (1/21-1/22)…Also was part of the 4x400m relay team that finished 16th at the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational with a time of 3:22.86…Was part of the 4x400m relay team that finished 12th with a time of 3:19.42 at the New Balance Invitational (2/4-2/5)…Also was part of the 4x200m relay team at the New Balance Invitational that won with a time of 1:26.28…Finished 33rd in the 400m dash with a time of 49.87 at the New Balance Invitational as well…Placed 10th in the 200m dash with a time of 22.41 at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/11-2/12)…Also was part of the 4x400m relay team that placed 2nd at the Tiger Paw Invitational with a time of 3:16.62…Finished 5th in the 400m finals at the Big South Indoor Championships (2/24-2/25) with a time of 50.50 seconds…Also ran a 49.84 during the 400m prelims at the Big South Indoor Championships…Placed 3rd in the 200m finals with a time of 22.30 at the Big South Indoor Championships…Ran the 200m prelims in 22.02 seconds at the Big South Indoor Championships…Also was part of the 4x400m relay team that won at the Big South Indoor Championships with a time of 3:18.32.

CSU: Holds the Big South 200m meet record (21.27) … along with teammate Javon Young earned the school’s first-ever bids to the NCAA Indoor National Championships in 2009-10.

High School: Three-time state participant for Coach Rib Campbell at Screven County HS … state champion in the 200 and 400m dash in 2007 … earned all-region honors in the 400m and 200m dash events … also a member of the football team earning all-region honors as a defensive end.

Personal: Son of Lisa and Raymond Tyler … majoring in kinesiology and sociology with hopes of becoming a collegiate track and field coach.
