Plant HS (Milford Academy) Eligibility: Jr. Major: 2008: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, earning the start against Miami (Ohio) in the third game of the year ... third among CSU defensive backs with 42 total tackles ... forced two fumbles, one against Miami (Ohio) and another versus Liberty ... had five pass breakups ... best game was a season-high six tackles against Liberty and duplicated the feat against Coastal Carolina in the final game of the season. High School: Had 264 career tackles with 24 tackles-for-loss and 12 interceptions ... returned three interceptions for touchdowns, two of which came in the playoffs, tying the school record ... helped lead his team to the 2006 AAAA State Championship ... earned all-county, All-Western Conference, and all-state honors ... named the Hillsborough County Defensive Player of the Year ... also played on the baseball team ... two-year member of the honor roll. Women's Soccer
As tough as it is to repeat as CSU Athlete of the Week, it’s just as hard to deny that senior Marky Boyce’s performance this week was one of the best performances in school history. Boyce scored goals in all three games this week, including two game-winners and notched a hat trick in the victory over Jacksonville.
