Shane Miles

2012: Appeared in seven games, going 1-for-4 with an RBI…cracked an RBI single in first at-bat of year during loss to USC Upstate on March 7.

2011:  Appeared in 19 games at centerfield for the Bucs, making the start against North Florida (2/20/11)… Went 1-for-2 against the Osprey… Also had a season-high five putouts… Had two at-bats vs. Fordham (3/14/11).

2010: Played in 14 games as a freshman… Tallied his first career hit on March 17 against Savannah State… Finished the season 1-for-9 at the plate… Made his first career start on May 12 against South Carolina, going 0-for-2… Stole a base on May 16 against UNC Asheville.

High School: Played at Lake City High School under Coach Jason Cook... batted .479 for his career, with seven home runs... was an All-Region selection four times, and was named an All-State player on three occasions.

Personal: Born September 4, 1990, in Lake City, S.C... son of Robert Miles and Wendy Morris... came to CSU because of the small school atmosphere... favorite sports figure is Tim Tebow... greatest sports moment is when he hit a walk-off home run to win a game as a high school freshman.
