2012: Played in all 11 games and started eight at quarterback...Led CSU in passing, going 66-for-128 (51.5%) for 1,096 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions...Finished second on the team in rushing yards and attempts, carrying 105 times for 462 yards (4.4 average per rush) and seven touchdowns...Capped the year seventh in the Big South in total offense, and fourth in total touchdowns with 16...Earned opening day starting nod at quarterback for second straight year at The Citadel (9/1), rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown while completing 9-of-17 passes for 89 yards, a touchdown and an interception...Led a 10-play, 98-yard drive versus The Citadel, and tied the game at 7 in the second quarter with a 15-yard touchdown pass to Chase Jones...Gave CSU a 14-7 2nd quarter lead over The Citadel with a 9-yard touchdown run on a third-down play...Threw for 140 yards against Jacksonville (9/8) and completed a 72-yard pass to Nathan Perera which was the Bucs' longest play from scrimmage of the season...Did not start at quarterback, but led the Bucs to their first win of the season against Shorter (9/22)...Rushed eight times for 34 yards, and scored on a 12-yard touchdown run which gave CSU the lead for good in the third quarter of that matchup...Also threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to Chase Jones against Shorter...Hit Will Hunt for a 28-yard touchdown in loss at Stony Brook (10/6)...Had an excellent day in the Bucs' Big South home win over VMI (10/13), rushing 12 times for 50 yards with a long of 19 while completed 5-of-6 passes for 88 yards and three touchdowns...Threw a pair of first quarter touchdowns to Zach Frazier and Larry Jones III that set the tone in the win over the Keydets...Enjoyed a second consecutive efficient passing game in CSU's win over Presbyterian (10/20), completing 6-of-8 attempts for 104 yards while also rushing for 66 yards on nine carries...Excelled throwing the football once again against Edward Waters (10/27), going 5-of-6 for 115 yards and a touchdown while also running for two touchdowns, gaining 60 total yards on seven carries...Threw for a season-high 184 yards and completed 10-of-15 passes - including a 41-yard touchdown to Kirby Broome - while also rushing for 45 yards and a touchdown in road loss at Liberty (11/3)...Ran for 56 net yards and a pair of touchdowns, and completed 7-of-10 through the air for 90 yards in home finale win over Gardner-Webb (11/10)...Scampered for a 69-yard 4th quarter touchdown versus GW that gave CSU the lead for good...Added a 15-yard score less than two minutes later to put CSU up 21-10 in the eventual 18-point victory...Ran eight times for 39 yards, and threw for 122 yards and a touchdown on 8-of-16 passing in season finale at Coastal Carolina (11/17).
2011: Started eight games at quarterback, while missing three due to injury (Gardner-Webb, Stony Brook, and Coastal Carolina)…finished second on the team in rushing yardage (281 yards) and passing yardage (847), while leading the team in rushing attempts (106)…hit on 72-of-158 passes (45.6 %) with three touchdowns and six interceptions…ran for one touchdown and also caught a pass for a gain of ten yards…started season opener versus Central Florida on Sept. 3 and passed for 50 yards while completing 6-of-15 attempts…threw for 50 yards on 7-of-15 passing versus Florida State on Sept. 10 and caught a Teddy Allen pass for 10 yards during fourth quarter…took home Big South Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Jacksonville on Sept. 17, when he ran for a career-high 163 yards and a touchdown and completed 9-of-14 passes for 84 yards and another score…had two runs of 40+ yards against the Dolphins, including a 46-yard scamper which help set up a Teddy Allen third quarter touchdown…hit Carson Leshin for a 25-yard touchdown on a misdirection play which gave CSU its only lead of the game at 20-17 late in the third quarter…rushing attempts and yardage versus Jacksonville were 2nd most in a single game by a Big South quarterback, while he also became the first CSU player to rush for 100 yards since 2007…passed for a then career-high 178 yards versus Wesley on Oct. 1, completing 15-of-34 attempts with a TD while also running for 71 yards on 17 carries, including a 42-yard gait…hit Kirby Broome with a five-yard touchdown pass during fourth quarter of Wesley game…set career-highs in attempts (38) and yardage (205) in the Big South opener at VMI (Oct. 15), completing 14-for-38 for 205 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 44 yards on 16 carries…converted 3rd and 15 during third quarter against Keydets by hitting Mike Davis for a gain of 36 yards, and then converted a 3rd and 8 on same drive by finding Kevin Glears for 17 more…hit on 10-of-17 passes for 115 yards versus Liberty on Oct. 22 and also ran for 27 runs on 14 attempts…completed 4-of-6 passes for 79 yards versus Presbyterian on Nov. 19, and hit Carson Leshin for 52 yards on longest pass play of career.
2010: Bounced around between wide receiver and quarterback … played in six games with one start … earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors after bursting onto the scene at quarterback against Kentucky … finished the year with 48 carries for 182 yards, including a season-long 30-yard run against the Wildcats … completed 21-27 passes (78 percent) for 236 yards and four touchdowns … best game was against Presbyterian, completing 8-11 passes for a season-high 130 yards and all four touchdowns.
High School: Earned the Iron Devil Award from Coach Jay Walls as a sophomore, junior and senior ... named the Offensive Player of the Year as a senior and earned second team all-region honors ... first team all-region selection as a junior and was a four-time member of the honor roll ... also a member of the basketball and track programs, helping lead his basketball team to the sweet sixteen as a junior and finishing second in the state in the long jump.
