2012 (Jr.): Saw action in 28 matches and 50 sets, earning one start as a junior for the Bucs...Lined up primarily as a defensive specialist and libero, finishing with 39 digs, averaging 0.78 digs per set...Had two kills, three set assists and two service aces...Season-high nine digs on Aug. 25 vs. Cal State Fullerton...Had eight digs on oct. 12 vs. Liberty.

2010 (Fr.): Competed in 84 sets as a freshman, making two starts in the back row… served as backup libero, and collected 75 digs, eight service aces, five assists and one kill… recorded career-high 10 digs while making first start Sept. 18 at Georgia Southern… posted six or more digs on six occasions, including back-to-back six dig matches on Sept. 11 in Jacksonville…effective at the service line, Murphy served up a season-high three aces against Liberty Oct. 29… recorded one kill, along with seven digs and one assist Sept. 11 vs. South Alabama.

High School: Murphy was a three-year varsity starter at Marion HS in Marion, Iowa, under Coach Roxanne Paulsen... currently in second place for career digs (1249) at Marion, holding top two single-season marks... an All-State selection in 2008 and 2009... First Team All-Conference selection in 2009 after Second-Team mention in 2008... Second Team All-Metro selection in 2009 and Honorable Mention All-Metro selection in 2008... helped team to a 3A State Championship in 2008, along with Conference Championships in 2008 and 2009... made three national appearances as a club player with the Iowa Rockets... took first place in the 18 club Indianapolis Qualifier... in classroom, made honor roll in all terms... was part of National Honor Society and received the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Award for Increasing GPA... was an All-Conference performer in soccer and basketball as well.
