Previous School: Spent one year at fellow Big South member Winthrop … ran a personal best 5:15 in the 1,500m run for the Eagles … earned All-Eagle Academic/Athletic team honors.

High School: Holds The Kings Academy school record in the cross country 5k (20:33) … earned all-region and all-state honors all four years of high school while running for Coach Matt Terrio … broke her own school record three times as a senior… earned the team’s Runner of the Year award as a senior and was a High School Sports Report all-state selection … also an all-region selection on the basketball court as a junior and was a member of the softball team.

Personal: Daughter of Barry and Tari Dean … majoring in athletic training at CSU with hopes of working in high school or college athletics … father Barry played basketball and competed in the pole vault at Malone College … competed in the 3,000m run at the junior Olympics … favorite food is peanut butter, book is Once a Runner, movie is The Patriot and place to visit is Asheville, N.C. … came to CSU for the people.
