Lizzy Olmstead

2012: Appeared in 34 games, starting three (2 – CF, 1 – 2B)…recorded single in CSU’s win over Ohio on 3/19…scored 10 runs on the season, and stole four bases to rank second on the team in that category.

2011: Competed in 44 games, starting nine times (6 – CF, 2 -2B, 1 – DP)… mostly utilized as pinch runner and defensive replacement… scored 11 runs, including game-tying runs at Coastal and vs. Gardner-Webb… tied for team lead with four stolen bases… batted .167 (4-for-24) with one double and two RBI… registered first career double April 10 at Longwood, driving in Kimberly Braxton while hitting CSU’s third straight extra-base hit… recorded first career hit and scored a run in 10-9 win over Virginia Tech.

High School: Started for four seasons at Nature Coast High School under Coach Mettina Couet… Served as team captain three times, hitting .429 for her high school career… led conference with .512 average in 2010… earned three All-County and All-Conference mentions… voted All North Suncoast and All Suncoast following junior and senior seasons… represented West Team in Florida High School All-Star Game… competed for Bomber Gold travel team, coached by Frank Accuri… member of National Honors Society, Beta Club and FCA.
