2012 (Fr.): Played in 15 games, earning four starts in the midfield for the Buccaneers as a true freshman...Scored one goal in recording two points on the season...Recorded six shots, with five shots on goal on the season...Shot percentage was .167, while she led the team with a .833 shot on goal percentage...Started her first four games of her collegiate career...Scored her first collegiate goal on Oct. 13 vs. UNC Asheville in the Bucs' 5-2 win.

Coach Terrill on Ashley Lowdermilk: “Ashley was the first player in the 2012 class to commit to us. She plays at IMG so she didn’t play any high school soccer. She just played straight for IMG and played at a really high level. She’s multi-talented – mostly a mid-fielder but we’ve seen her play at a variety of different positions. We think she’s been extremely successful. She’s been on both North Carolina and Florida ODP. She’s captain and MVP of IMG. She’s just a good fit for the university, great kid, and a player that we’re going to need in the midfield to kind of step up to the next level and this is a kid who can actually step in and help us be able to get to the next level."

High School: Ashley Lowdermilk comes to Charleston Southern by way of Bradenton, Fla. and Edison Academics, where she played at the IMG Soccer academy under Coach Marcelo Carrera…While at IMG, she played on the U19 team for three years, earning MVP honors twice…Started every game during her time at the academy, serving as Captain in her senior season…Was also selected to attend the US Club id2 National tryout, and she started on the US Club South Charlotte Soccer Association team that finished third in the national finals in the 2007 season…Played for three Super Y Clubs including the Charlotte Soccer Club, the Triangle Futbol Club and the Carolina Dynamo…Qualified for the North Carolina State team in 2006-2007 and the Florida State ODP pool in 2010-2011…In the classroom, was ranked #1 in senior class at Edison Academics…Member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society.
