Hannah Thomas

Coach Terrill on Hannah Thomas: “Hannah is definitely a defensive center midfielder. She’s got good size. She’s about 5-10, and again, another dual-sport athlete. Both Rebecca and Hannah ran track and were really successful. You can see that Hannah won 7 straight track titles so she’s very quick, has good speed and is a good ball-winner in the air. She’s really just a very talented soccer player as well as having some good size and adding some defensive depth in the midfield. It took us about a year to get those players that we needed. Hannah Thomas and a couple of the other players that we’re bringing in – Ashley Lowdermilk, Henry, definitely some players that we need them to step in and make an impact right away.”

High School: Hannah Thomas comes to Charleston Southern by way of Springfield, Va. and Bishop Ireton High School where she played under Coach Gino Leon…Was also a member of the Vista Omni…Was a four year starter and letter-winner at Bishop Ireton…Also played on the basketball and track & field teams…Was a member of the 4x400 Relay State Championship team at the VA State Catholic meet in 2009…Was the 400M Dash and High Jump State Champion at the same meet…Was a member of the Vista Omni team that on the WAGS High School Division Championship…Was a member of the 2010 National Indoor Champions – High School Division…In the classroom, was a member of the Beta Club and the president of Cardinals for the Cure.
