Nokes' Career Stats

2010: Competed in 121 sets, and was one of three players to start all 33 matches… led team with 1,042 assists, becoming seventh player in program history with 1,000 assists in a season… currently stands in sixth place at CSU with 1,449 career assists… registered 131 kills while hitting .171, also adding 207 digs, 22 service aces and 45 total blocks… finished sixth in the Big South in assists and led all Conference setters in kills… earned All-Tournament Team mention in first two events of season… posted double-figures in assists in all 33 matches, including eight 40+ assist contests and 19 30+ assist matches… posted a career-high 54 assists Aug. 28 vs. Delaware State, and topped it with 58 helpers Oct. 8 vs. Asheville… her 58 assists against Asheville were second-most in a Big South match this season… registered six double-doubles, including two near-triple-doubles… recorded back-to-back doubles against Radford and High Point to open the home portion of Conference play…dished out 80 assists in two Conference Tournament matches... served up three aces Nov. 12 vs. Gardner-Webb to set a season high.

2009:  Played in 15 sets and started four matches before suffering a season ending foot injury… recorded 32 kills and 19 digs in her time on the court… earned a redshirt after appearing in just five matches.

2008:
Started in 28 matches as a sophomore and appeared in 123 sets… one of two players to record over one hundred kills, assists and digs… finished second on the team in assists and third in total blocks with 181 and 41, respectively... also tallied 133 kills and 107 digs… recorded double-figure assists seven times, including back-to-back games twice… posted 13 digs against UNC Asheville on Oct. 17h… had a career high 12 kills in a win over Presbyterian on Nov. 14th.

2007: Appeared in 24 matches as a freshman, serving as the part-time setter for the Lady Bucs ... played in 60 games and recorded 224 assists, an average of 3.73 per game ... set her career high with 34 assists on Sept. 28 against Presbyterian ... that match also marked her first career double-double as she added 10 digs ... had three double-doubles on the season ... reached double figures in assists in 10 matches, including a stretch of six straight ... had 20 or more assists in five matches ... opened the season with a season high seven kills against The Citadel... had 101 digs and 28 kills in her freshman campaign.

High School: Holds Lane Tech three-game records in kills (27) and digs (16) ... Her 31 assists, 46 points, and 19 aces each set two-game records at LTHS ... was the team MVP all three seasons under Head Coach Rich Rio ... helped lead her team to the regional championship in 2004 and 2005 ... earned first-team All-City honors in 2005 and 2006 ... also played on the basketball team, helping them win the GCAC championship, and was given the coach’s award.

Personal: Born on Oct. 9, 1988, in Chicago, Ill. ... daughter of Jan and John Nokes ... father, John, was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1974 as a linebacker.
