2009: A dynamic player for the Bucs, who started all 53 games in right field and appeared 16 times on the mound… longest hitting streak of the season was nine games… tied program record for homers in a single game with three against Furman on April 22… hit four homers in three consecutive games, on his way to leading the team with a total of 12 for the season… tied program record for runs scored in a game with five and broke record for RBI with eight at High Point on April 11… tied program record for at-bats with seven at Auburn on March 17… second on team in hits with 62, first in doubles (16), runs (40), at bats (212), RBI (49), and total bases (116)… finished season with a .547 slugging percentage… tallied a 4-4 record on the mound, while holding the second lowest era at 3.73… longest outing of the season against Marist on February 28 against Marist… tallied a season high six strikeouts in 3.0 innings against Savannah State on May 12…

2008: Did a little bit of everything for the Buccaneers as a freshman ... started all 40 in the field and made 14 appearances on the mound ... finished the season with a .276 batting average, recording 40 hits in 145 at-bats ... tied for third on the team with 11 doubles and also belted five home runs, tied for the fourth-most on the squad ... drove in 24 runs ... drew 12 walks and was hit by a pitch, giving the freshman a .331 on-base percentage ... was successful in his only stolen base attempt ... went 2-for-5 against Richmond on March 14, hitting a double and a home run while racking up a career-high five RBI ... made 11 starts on the mound for the Bucs, finishing the season with a 7.04 earned run average ... his 55 strikeouts ranked second on the team, recording them over just 53 and two-third innings ... held opponents to a .298 batting average against ... tossed a complete-game shutout against Presbyterian on March 22 ... allowed five hits and walked a pair while striking out a career-high 10 batters for his second win of the season ... finished the year with a 2-5 record.
