February 6, 2010  CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern lost just their second home game on the season, dropping a disappointing 82-73 loss vs. the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs Saturday, at the CSU Field House. The Bulldogs shot lights out, hitting 65% of their field goals, including a 50% mark from behind the arc. The Bucs came in to the game having lost three straight, while the Bulldogs were the hottest team in the Big South, with a seven game win streak on the line. CSU got it done on the defensive end, holding UNCA to just 32% percent shooting and 20 points in the second half.
