CSU Victims of Gardner-Webb Hot Shooting in a 82-73 Loss

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Charleston Southern lost just their second home game on the season, dropping a disappointing 82-73 loss vs. the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs Saturday, at the CSU Field House.  The Bulldogs shot lights out, hitting 65% of their field goals, including a 50% mark from behind the arc.  CSU dropped to 11-12 on the season and 6-7 in the Big South, while Gardner-Webb improved to 7-16 with a 4-9 Big South record.  .. CSU Slows Down UNCA with a 62-54 Win

CHARLESTON S.C. – Charleston Southern got back to the win column in a big way, taking a 62-54 victory over the UNC Asheville Bulldogs Thursday, at the CSU Field House.  The Bucs came in to the game having lost three straight, while the Bulldogs were the hottest team in the Big South, with a seven game win streak on the line.  CSU got it done on the defensive end, holding UNCA to just 32% percent shooting and 20 points in the second half.  The Bucs improved to 11-11 and 6-6 in the Big South with the win, while the Bulldogs dropped to 10-13 and 7-5 in conference play.  ..
